Quotes & Pricing

Do you publish a price list?

No. Pricing depends on vessel size, repair complexity, materials and labour, so we scope each job and share costs upfront before work starts.

How do I get a quote?

Send your vessel type, LOA, the work you need, its location and your timeframe by WhatsApp or email. We reply with a scoped estimate within one business day.

Are there indicative costs I can plan with?

Yes — the haul-out, phinisi and yacht shipyard pages list indicative USD ranges. They are planning figures; every quote is confirmed after inspection.

What if extra work is found during the job?

We re-scope and issue a revised itemised estimate before any extra work starts.

Scheduling & Seasons

When do you reply to enquiries?

Every day from 08:00 to 20:00 WITA (UTC+8). Messages sent outside these hours are answered the next morning.

How far ahead should I book?

For slipway time or imported parts, allow four to six weeks in the June–October dry season and around two weeks in the wet season. In-water trades usually need one to two weeks.

What is the busiest time of year?

The June–October dry season, when the charter fleet queues for slipway slots.

Can you handle urgent breakdowns?

Urgent breakdowns around Labuan Bajo are triaged the same day.

Haul-Out & Repairs

What size vessels can be hauled locally?

Local rail slipways handle wooden and displacement hulls up to roughly 40 m LOA, subject to cradle fit and the tide window. Larger vessels are routed to Bali or Surabaya.

Is there a travel lift in Labuan Bajo?

Not yet. Hauls are done on rail slipways and tidal grids; where a sling lift is needed we arrange a suitable yard in Bali or Surabaya.

Can hull and engine work happen at the same time?

Yes. Shipwrights work the hull while mechanics service the machinery, so the vessel returns to service in one lay period.

Can my crew live aboard on the hardstand?

Usually yes for working crew, with ladder access; overnight arrangements are confirmed with the yard at booking.

Working With Us

Can work be done while I am away?

Yes. We run a documented punch list with photos at each stage and release payments only against verified milestones.

Which vessels do you work on?

Phinisi liveaboards, dive and passenger boats, speedboats, fishing vessels, workboats and visiting yachts.

Where do you operate?

Our home base is Labuan Bajo, West Manggarai, Flores. Larger jobs are coordinated through partner facilities in Flores, Bali and across Indonesia.

Trust & Transparency

Do you publish customer satisfaction figures?

No. We collect feedback through direct communication and use it to improve our service.

How are disputes or issues handled?

Through open communication and a commitment to resolving problems promptly and fairly.

Do you hold classification-society approvals?

We do not claim approvals from classification societies such as ABS, BV or DNV. We follow industry standards in all repair and maintenance work.
